Casino Pickering Open Date
This nonsmoking hotel offers convenient amenities and close proximity to a variety of attractions such as the Petticoat Creek Conservation Area in beautiful Pickering, Ontario. Toronto city center is 30 minutes' drive away. Guests at Comfort Inn can wake up after a restful night of sleep to a complimentary hot breakfast. Ontario is taking a regional approach to reopening so casinos may not open their doors at the same time. It will depend on the region the casino is in and when that region will be allowed to enter. The average rental rate for the City of Pickering is presently $1,900. This is in addition to a rental appreciation rate of 3.9% for the past 10 years. The demand for condos is still strong here as the vacancy rate currently sits at 1.1%. The average resale price for all home types in the City of Pickering is presently around $693,447.
One Toronto Gaming began the construction of Pickering Casino Resort last year and is projected to open in two phases. The first phase is slated to open in 2020 and will feature a number of gaming and dining options, while the second phase will include a full scope of entertainment amenities and hotel offerings.

UPDATE: May 22, 2020
To our customers,
It has been two months since we have suspended operations due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In that time, we have made a conscious effort to stayconnected with our customers and involved in our local communities. We hope that during this time, you and your loved ones have stayed safe and healthy.
As the province develops phased re-opening plans, we are preparing company-wide safety measures to protect our customers and staff when our doors re-open. As we finalize our safety procedures, we will provide a detailed description of what customers can expect going forward.
We will not reopen until we are completely confident in our prevention measures and can ensure that our customers feel safe visiting each of our locations. While an exact timeline is not known, we are hopeful that we will be welcoming customers in our gaming centres again very soon.
